commit a1f3e02 — the work

Three tracks. The whole interview loop, covered.

Built around what companies actually ask in 2026 — not a graveyard of 2,000 unsorted problems.

track/coding

Coding rounds

Curated problem paths by pattern, with repeatable AI practice that pushes you on complexity, edge cases, and your explanations.

track/system-design

System design

Guided designs of real systems — payment platforms, feeds, storage engines — with rubric-based scoring at junior through staff level.

track/behavioral

Behavioral & story

Turn your experience into narratives that land. Build a story bank, rehearse whenever you need, and get expert human feedback before onsites.

commit 7c9d411 — the process

From first baseline to signed offer, in four steps

01

Set your baseline

A structured diagnostic to find where you actually stand — not where you fear you stand.

02

Personal prep plan

A week-by-week plan scoped to your target level and timeline, adjusted as your scores move.

03

Practice, then calibrate

Use AI whenever you need repetition, then get expert human feedback before the interviews that matter.

04

Sign, then pay

You get the offer, you take the job, you get your first paycheck — then Rebase sends its one invoice.

commit 9d4b6e1 — pre-flight check

Will a robot reject your CV before a human sees it?

Most CVs are parsed by an applicant tracking system before any recruiter reads them. Tables, columns, and graphics silently break parsers — and your application vanishes.

Upload your CV and get an ATS report in seconds: what parsed, what broke, and what to fix.

The Merge fee is due 30 days after your start date — after your first paycheck, not before. Don't land a job? You owe nothing, ever. No interest, no income share, no percentage of salary. One flat invoice, once.

commit 3b8aa90 — questions

Fair questions

What happens if I never get hired?

You pay nothing. The risk is ours by design — it forces us to build prep that actually converts to offers, not engagement metrics.

Is this an income share agreement (ISA)?

No. ISAs take a percentage of your salary for years. Merge is one flat $349 invoice after your first paycheck. It's closer to a referral fee you pay yourself.

How do you verify I got hired?

Honor system plus a light offer-letter confirmation. We'd rather trust engineers and lose a few invoices than surveil the people we're trying to help.

Why aren't live human mocks included in Merge?

Merge includes async human review of your recordings. Live sessions are different: a senior engineer's hour has a hard cost we pay the day it happens, so it can't ride on a deferred fee. Keeping it a paid add-on keeps the $0-today promise honest.

Merge or Pro — which should I pick?

Merge if you'd rather pay nothing until an offer is signed. Pro if you prefer predictable monthly billing with no success fee. Same product either way — pick whichever fits your cash flow.
